It tastes so good. Food is fresh. Must try!!
I got the mixed rice plate (com thap cam) for 20k and extra tofu for 5k. The rice plate itself was seriously lacking protein. However for only 20k it was worth it to get a side order of tofu. So 25k is the average price at other quán chays. The meal set as a whole was very good. The soup was hot actually had a nice flavor (not bland like other places) - I think it was canh chua (sour soup). My rice plate had a lot of greens, eggplant, and a fried mushroom. The extra tofu was a tomato tofu stuffed with seitan and mushrooms. The tomato tofu was soooo good. I would go back for that alone. The rice was room temperate and fresh, I did not get old rice like another reviewer mentioned here. This is such a good quán chay. Most of the dishes are 18k only. I would definitely revisit this place.
I work nearby so I often come here to eat. They have a variety of Quang-style noodles, the decor is quite nice, the corn milk is delicious, and the prices are average, ranging from $2-5 per person.
The food was delicious, starting from the Pizza to the salad everything was so yummy. We realy enjoyed the food on the rooftop with the view of vibrant Da Nang city. Thank Bistecca.
I had two great coffee experiences here. The staff are warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was great and very fitting. I highly recommend XLIII to anyone who enjoys specialty coffee. They also have many coffees that they roast in house that are for sale. Expectations should land on lighter roasts which will be better tasting and less strong. I wish I would have come here my first day in Vietnam!
First of all I had to keep reminding myself that I was in Vietnam and not Hong Kong . The fried rice was dry and clumpy with hard pieces of something The bokChoy and mushrooms were under cooked and the black bean sauce was underwhelming ,but I am in Vietnam so ……. The dumplings were greasy and tasted odd but I ate them because I was hungry. The shrimp rice rolls were very, very good ! The pork ribs in black bean sauce were tasteless and more black bean sauce would have been better The service was very good , but there were only 3 other tables occupied of about 20 The wonton soup was disappointing as there was only 1 wonton and a hard piece of broccoli The beef meatballs were just that , and tasted “dead” The sticky rice wrapped in Lotus leaves were average with very little taste The tea was cold , so I ordered a refill it was cold as well The beef stir fried noodles were ok , but not fantastic, just ok After the meal , I learned that the chef is Vietnamese and not Chinese , so that may be the difference between what I grew up with
