Meals waiting time is too much. 45 minutes for one order. Restaurant is empty. Service is poor. The portion is good but full of salt. Although they changed. I will not recommend
I often order from Maharaja Indian Restaurant Đà Nẵng (since 2016) 🍛 My usual choice is the Chicken Biryani, and it has always been very satisfying. The portion size is good, the food is clean, and the taste is rich and flavorful. The packaging is also very nice and secure, which keeps the food in great condition during delivery. All the sauces are included, and everything arrives well packed and well delivered. Overall, a tasty and reliable place if you are craving Indian food in Da Nang 👍
Delicious food, a fantastic Indian culinary experience. The restaurant is elegant, and the staff are friendly.
Absolutely fantastic experience! This Indian restaurant truly delivers on both flavor and quality. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, and it was outstanding—perfectly cooked, tender pieces of chicken simmered in a rich, creamy tomato-based sauce that had just the right balance of spice, warmth, and depth. You could really taste the freshness of the spices, and the sauce was indulgent without being overpowering. The garlic cheese naan was the perfect companion to the dish. Freshly baked, soft on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside, generously stuffed with melted cheese and infused with aromatic garlic. It was flavorful on its own and even better dipped into the tikka masala sauce. Portion sizes were generous, presentation was appealing, and everything tasted authentically made with care. It’s clear that a lot of attention goes into both the cooking and the ingredients. If you’re a fan of Indian cuisine—or even trying it for the first time—this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from the menu!
Maharaja Restaurant in Da Nang turned out to be one of our favorite Indian food spots during the trip, and we ended up visiting twice. On our first visit, we ordered butter tandoori roti and kadhai paneer, medium spicy. The paneer was cooked really well, flavorful without being overpowering, and the spice level was just right. What stood out the most was the roti, it was served warm, fresh, and soft, the kind you can easily keep ordering without getting tired of it. Because the first meal was so satisfying, we went back again. This time, we tried a simple dal tadka and vegetable jalfrezi, again medium spicy, along with butter tandoori roti. The dal tadka was comforting and well balanced, and the jalfrezi had a good mix of vegetables with nice flavors. Once again, the quality stayed consistent, which is always a good sign. The food is genuinely good and very affordable compared to many other Indian restaurants in Da Nang. If you’re finding other places expensive or hit or miss, Maharaja is a dependable choice. It offers good quality food, fair pricing, and decent service. Definitely a go to restaurant if you’re craving Indian food while in Da Nang.
Delicous food and nice staff

Average Indian Food, did not impress
We ordered 3 dishes with rice and garlic naan. It was OK. The chicken tikka masala was not tasty enough, just kinda salty. The Goa prawn curry was more coconuty but still lacked complex flavor, same for the mutton korma. Even the garlic naan was not as good as we have had elsewhere; it was kinda hard and lacked good texture & flavor. It may just be our personal taste but this food did not hit the mark for us. We were not satisfied with our meal.
Beware if you have a nut allergy, they will serve you sauces with nuts anyway. They don't seem to get it.
We recently ate here and there was one person in our group who had a life threatening nut allergy. After explaining this to the waitress she assured her there were no nuts in the butter chicken. When it arrived our friend was suspect so she just touched her tongue to the sauce and got an immediate reaction. Had she taken a mouthful, it could have been catastrophic. As it turns out, there were cashew nut in the butter chicken. This restaurant does not appreciate dietary concerns, even if they're life threatening. It was only after we left the restaurant did we realize they charged us for her uneaten meal. I would not recommend this restaurant.
No respect for dietary restrictions
Asked about dishes they assured me there was no nuts there was. They do not respect dietary restrictions. I explained this was not a like. It could have been death. Luckily I have an epi pen with me.
Yum!
Delicious! We loved the cheese naan! Butter chicken and everything was lovely. Clean place. Kind staff. Would love to come back if we have time.
