Good place to go for a chill out and to escape Da Nang itself

Nice little place on the Son Tra peninsula. It was quiet when we went but still nicely chilled with a good atmosphere. We stayed quite a long time enjoying the cocktails and craft beer and enjoyed a couple of tapas followed by a couple of small sharing plates. A nice place to go after visiting the giant lady Buddha or just to get away from the much brasher vibe of Da Nang itself.

So far the best fusion restaurant we tried all over Vietnam. Affordable fine dining with great service and atmosphere, a true hidden gem. Dishes were creative, well-made with fresh high quality ingredients. The understanding of multiple cuisine, exotically Europeans is incredible. Simply flawless. We’re coming back tomorrow.

A truly beautiful place. Located in a quiet and cozy area, surrounded by forest and mountains. The view is absolutely stunning, with fresh, clean air and a calm, peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the moment. The food was also very delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a very good moment in this isolated restaurant. It was quiet and clean, well organized, with a nice décoration. The food was good overall, we enjoyed trying many different dishes. Mention to the pork ribs which were surprising in term of textures and taste, it was really different from everything i tried in a while. The lava cake was really disappointing tough, very bland, where the melting chocolate should taste real strong cacao, it was not that. The truffle dressing of the mushroom salad was not there too, it was barely tasting truffle. That's why I put 4 stars and not 5, since the price is not cheap at all. The staff was polite and did a good job. I recommend.

This place is aptly named retreat; upon entering you’re truly in a lovely world that you don’t want to leave. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, the bartender a master at his craft, the chef makes the most delicious dishes that we tasted in all of central Vietnam. There were monkeys playing in the courtyard, mirroring the joy I felt at having discovered this retreat. Just go.

Delicious food, and excellent service. Great variety on the menu. Had grilled prawns for mains, and grilled octopus as an appetiser. 100% recommend this tucked away gem. It was a cloudy, chilly day when we came, but I can imagine the outdoor seating being lovely on a sunny day.

Wonderful restaurant 😊😊

We were in Danang for four nights and went to this wonderful restaurant on our first night. We just couldn’t hep going again on our 2nd, 3rd and 4th nights. The food was simply amazing as was the service. The best restaurant we visited in Vietnam 😊😊 If you get the opportunity go. Five star for sure.

Really excellent

We went to this restaurant because we wanted to visit the monkey mountain... what a surprise! A very good welcome with lovely and caring waiters... the decoration is beautiful, the place bucolic and soothing and what about the dishes: EXCEPTIONAL We shared a starter : beef meatballs and mozza asian style... AN EXPLOSION OF FLAVOURS For my part, I opted for the duck fillet with honey and coffee sauce and its Mash potatoes and small vegetables: one of the BEST dishes I was given to taste. Being myself a restaurateur in France I can only congratulate the chef for his know-how and these delicious flavours. Just a small flat for the desserts that were sorely lacking in pep but it didn't take anything away from our pleasure A big thank you to you for this delicious moment. I highly recommend this superb restaurant.

4th day in Danang and friend recommended this restaurant. Son Tras Retreat is a game-changer! Their food is incredibly delicious, with generous portions and amazing flavors. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The dry aged duck breast meat was so scrumptious (tender and flavourful) that prompted us to order a second helping. Highly recommended! 🤗😋😋

I loved Son Tra Retreat. One afternoon in Da Nang it was raining and this was the perfect retreat to hide out. Food and drinks are excellent!
