Vô chợ Hội An nên ghé các quầy đồ ăn trải nghiệm nha mng Nhà mình ăn rải rác các quầy thì quầy nào cũng ngon mà rẻ. Mình ăn quầy này. Có đầy đủ các món đặc trưng luôn Cao lầu ngon, vừa vặn. Mì quảng bún bò cũng ok. Bà cụ bán hiền hòa dễ thương. Lớn tuổi rồi nhưng tay chân thoăn thoắt. Chúc bà nhiều sức khỏe. Bà ko nhận ck nha mng nhớ cbi tiền mặt nè.

A stall recommended by Anthony Bourdain. We ordered Cao Lau VND30k and Mi Quang VND30k. Both tasted different but good. Great value for money. Lady boss was friendly and humble. We had an enjoyable breakfast. We were back the next day. We tried white rose VND40k, fresh spring roll VND40k and more. My favourite is the simple Cao Lau. One of the few stalls opened early in the morning. Accepts cash only.

Phenomenal pork cao lau

Wir hatten sehr sehr leckeres Cao Lau mit tollen Smoothies vom Stand nebenan. Die beiden Damen machen das Essen ganz frisch, das Fleisch war wirklich zart. Wir können empfehlen, am Abend (vor 19 Uhr) zu kommen, dann ist es viel weniger voll als tagsüber.

Very small portions unfortunately with no taste. White Rose was 4 tiny pieces costing 40k. Really tiny and I ve been in many places in Vietnam. Quang noodles with sauted shrimp had no taste Mixed rice for 50k was half portion compared to HCM. Sorry but not coming back

Hai Chiến is an absolute gem in Hoi An! The flavors here are authentic, rich, and unforgettable—truly some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve had. Their Cao Lầu is a must-try, and it’s no surprise that even Anthony Bourdain ate here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff make you feel right at home. Whether you’re coming for the history, the connection to one of the world’s most famous food travelers, or simply for an incredible meal, this place is a must-visit.

I come back here whenever Im in town. Delicious and really affordable price in the old town (30k/ pork cao lau and 50k/ beef caolau). The smoothie stall next to it is a perfect combination and decently priced as well. Both of the vendors are friendly which made me feel welcomed like they are my aunties.

The first time we came here was in 2017 following Bourdain’s footsteps. We hadn’t had cao lau like him but pho bo and we literally cried into our bowls – it was such a heavenly experience. This time, we weren’t quite as moved. But I think that’s mainly because we’ve now been all over Vietnam and are probably a bit jaded. Regardless, if you are a Bourdain fan, this is a must visit on this pilgrimage and it’s highly unlikely that you’ll be disappointed. We opted for a plate of fried rolls as well, since the fresh spring rolls didn’t look as promising. All in all, we are so happy to be back to our Vietnam ground zero while paying respects to now late Tony. So glad that auntie Phan Thi is still alive and cooking! Stall 034.

Please AVOID! Allergy within 30 mins. Should have read the bad reviews carefully first before sitting down. No idea why some foreigners praised her so much. Perhaps they were new to Vietnamese and Asian food. Ordered shrimp hand rolls. The shrimps were not fresh and dyed in bright orange colour. Within 30 mins, my skin developed allergy. I had hives (red, raised itchy bumps) all over my body 🤯😭😠 swelling lips…😭😫😡 Ordered vegetarian ‘white rose’. As seen on photo, she brought me plain rice wrappers instead but charged me regular price of VND 40K. Ordered vegetarian bún noodles. As seen on photo, again, she brought me plain noodles and charged me VND 30K as the regular one with grilled pork. She didn’t bother to add any vegetable or tofu etc as meat replacement. The senior owner was friendly until seeing groups of potential customers. Then I was told to move to the corner. When questioned her why charged same prices for plain white rose and plain bún noodles, she said extra noodles were added. That was ridiculous! I didn’t appreciate her attitude and greediness. Her food had no taste. Used cheap ingredients. Perhaps the prawns covered in bright orange dye were off that gave me serious allergy (rash). To make things worse, I saw her preparing food without washing hands after handling cash. No wonder why people got food poisoning after eating here. Some of the sit in restaurants nearby cost the same prices with good ambience, AC and most importantly, hygiene standard! Eat here only if you want food poisoning or/and allergy.
