Last night’s dinner at The Square Da Nang was nothing short of exceptional, and I genuinely mean that from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the tone was set by our hostess Anh, who was an absolute standout. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every detail was perfect — she remembered preferences, checked in at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive, and carried herself with a grace that elevated the whole experience. Anh is the kind of person who makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just a table number. She’s a real asset to this restaurant. Now, the food. The set menu was a beautifully curated journey. We opened with Assorted Bread and Butter — simple but done properly, setting a confident tone. The Rémoulade Giant Crab Cake with microgreens, roasted bell pepper and spicy rémoulade sauce was a real highlight of the evening — generous, fresh, and that sauce had a lovely kick without overpowering the delicate crab. The Wild Forest Mushroom Soup that followed was rich and deeply earthy, exactly what a good mushroom soup should be — silky and comforting with real depth of flavour. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Premier Australian Beef Tenderloin Sous Vide — cooked to absolute perfection, melt-in-the-mouth tender, paired beautifully with gold potato, peppery arugula and a luxurious truffle jus. Proper fine dining execution. We finished on a high with the Monalisa Gateau — raspberry, vanilla and almond — a light, elegant dessert that rounded off the meal without leaving you feeling heavy. The only minor gripe of the evening was the seating arrangement. Despite the restaurant having around 50 empty tables, we were seated directly next to another couple with very little space between us. For a venue of this calibre, that felt like a missed opportunity to offer guests a more intimate and comfortable dining experience — especially on what felt like a quiet night. A small thing, but worth mentioning. Overall though, The Square delivers on almost every level — refined cuisine, a beautiful setting, and staff who genuinely care. If you’re in Da Nang and want a special night out, this is the place. And ask for Anh — you won’t regret it.

Mình đã có dịp trải nghiệm tại The Square Restaurant và thật sự rất hài lòng. Không gian nhà hàng rộng rãi, sạch sẽ, trang trí đẹp và tạo cảm giác thoải mái ngay từ khi bước vào. Bầu không khí rất dễ chịu, phù hợp để đi ăn cùng gia đình, bạn bè hoặc tiếp khách. Đồ ăn ở đây được chế biến ngon, trình bày đẹp mắt và khẩu phần khá đầy đặn. Mình cảm nhận nguyên liệu tươi, hương vị đậm đà, ăn rất vừa miệng. Thực đơn đa dạng nên dễ lựa chọn, dù đi nhiều người vẫn có nhiều món phù hợp. Nhân viên phục vụ nhiệt tình, lịch sự và hỗ trợ nhanh chóng. Thái độ thân thiện, chuyên nghiệp khiến trải nghiệm ăn uống trở nên thoải mái hơn. Thời gian lên món cũng khá nhanh, không phải chờ đợi lâu. Tổng thể, mình đánh giá cao cả về chất lượng món ăn, dịch vụ và không gian. Đây là một địa điểm đáng để quay lại và mình sẵn sàng giới thiệu cho bạn bè, người thân khi có dịp. Nếu ai đang tìm một nơi ăn uống ngon, sạch sẽ và phục vụ tốt thì mình nghĩ đây là lựa chọn rất ổn. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was craving for dim sum and I saw Novotel had it so I decided to try it out because their pictures looks great. Unfortunately it was nothing like what they advertised. Chicken feet order only came with 1 foot that was cut in half and tasted frozen. Because of the lacking of dim sum dishes - decided to order the Tet special combo meal (which was $500k Dong/ pp). Everything tasted so old and dry! I’m utterly disappointed. 😔 don’t be fooled like me.

Hôm nay 6.1.26 là một ngày đặc biệt của vc mình đã đi cùng nhau 35 năm Menu nhà hàng dùng theo sét, hay riêng rẻ từng món một, mn thích thì đặt trước Các món ăn hôm nay rất ngon ,đẹp mắt Cảm ơn nhà hàng tạo một buổi tối ấm cúng, ý nghĩa,tuyệt vời với gia đình 😍💖

Loved the breakfast buffet at The Square, Novotel Danang. There was such a good variety — from comforting local Vietnamese dishes to international favourites — plus a generous healthy corner. Honestly, it’s one of the best breakfast spreads I’ve had at an Accor hotel. The view of the Han River from the restaurant is beautiful, especially in the morning. My only small suggestion would be to tint the windows a little more; the morning sun can get quite bright, and the glare makes it hard to enjoy the view. Not a big issue, just something that would make the experience even nicer. The service was wonderful. Every staff member we met was warm, friendly, and incredibly quick to attend to anything we needed. The restaurant was also very clean and well-kept. Kudos to the whole team — you made our morning a really pleasant one!

Restaurant in hotel usually have good chef and good food even though the price is much higher than other outside restaurants . I went to there Saturday night buffet. Oh I could say there seafood are all previously frozen and did not defrost properly so that all the meat in the crab and the shrimp are all mushy and doesn't even taste like freshly frozen seafood. Except the sashimis and sushi are acceptable in terms of texture and no foul smell of odor. I pay extra to have half a lobster but the texture of lobster meat is also mushy and very little firmness of the meat. It's another indication that the lobster was frozen and not properly defrost. The beef or not very tender and lack of flavor. There are few Vietnamese dishes that they were serving which tasted pretty good. Their ice cream taste more like sherber ice cream which taste like ice not cream. For the price I pay I think the food that they serve are not worth it to go back again.

What should have been one of the happiest, most important, and intimate days of my life — the day of a marriage proposal — turned into the most painful and disappointing experience I could have ever imagined, all because of the disastrous service at this hotel restaurant. We specifically booked this restaurant for this special occasion because it is usually quiet and empty, the perfect setting for a proposal. And indeed, when we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty. We were the only guests in the entire dining room. You would think, in such a situation, the staff would give us care, attention, and respect. Instead, they managed to ruin everything. The disaster began immediately. My boyfriend had made the reservation through another account, and the staff did not even bother to confirm or ask his correct name. As a result, they wrote the wrong name on the table — on the day of his proposal. Such a careless, thoughtless mistake at the very beginning of the evening already damaged the atmosphere. Then, the service was shockingly poor. We ordered drinks right away, yet they took forever to arrive. We were given bread without anyone asking about dietary restrictions, even though I cannot eat gluten. No one cared enough to ask about allergies. When the food finally came, the salmon was bland, under-seasoned, unpleasantly raw and dry — completely inedible. And the worst part? We had no water, no drinks, nothing to go with it. We had to sit there, eating dry food in complete discomfort, while struggling to even get the attention of a waiter. This, despite the fact that we were the only people in the entire restaurant. I have received better and more attentive service in cheap cafés with plastic chairs than what this so-called luxury hotel offered us that night. But the most heartbreaking moment — the moment that completely destroyed the magic of the proposal — was when the staff decided, for no reason, to seat a noisy couple of tourists directly next to us. In a completely empty dining room, they deliberately placed them right beside us, ruining our privacy and the intimate atmosphere we had chosen this restaurant for. Instead of hearing loving words from my partner, I had to listen to the loud conversations of strangers just a meter away. When I asked why this was done, the staff responded in a passive-aggressive and dismissive way, claiming the restaurant was “not empty.” This was insulting and deeply disrespectful, especially when they had an entire empty room to choose from. We waited more than 30 minutes for the next dish, which never arrived. Our drinks were delayed endlessly. The service was not just slow — it was indifferent, careless, and even cruel, considering the importance of this day. And in the end, after ruining one of the most important moments of our lives, they still forced us to pay the full price. We barely touched the food, we did not drink anything, and no gesture of goodwill was offered — no discount, no trial to do something , not even a sincere acknowledgment of what had happened. Just a cold bill and a “sorry , goodbye.” This experience broke my heart. It turned what should have been the happiest memory of my life into a nightmare. Instead of becoming a joyful bride-to-be that evening, I spent the entire night crying. I will never set foot in this place again, nor in any establishment connected to Novotel, Sun World, or their partner networks. They failed in every possible way — and in doing so, they shattered a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. The worst, most painful, and heartbreaking service I have ever experienced.

Tôi vừa có dịp dùng buffet tối tại nhà hàng The Square Khách sạn Novotel Đà Nẵng và thật sự ấn tượng với chất lượng dịch vụ, không gian và đặc biệt là trải nghiệm ẩm thực tuyệt vời mà nơi đây mang lại. Thực đơn rất đa dạng, từ các món hải sản tươi sống như hàu, tôm, cua… đến các món nướng, sashimi, salad, bún bò và nhiều món ăn nóng được thay đổi theo ngày. Tôm nướng là món tôi rất ấn tượng vì độ tươi và cách nêm nếm vừa miệng. Không gian nhà hàng rộng rãi, sạch sẽ, bàn ghế được sắp xếp hợp lý, . Từ chỗ ngồi có thể nhìn ra thành phố – rất lý tưởng để vừa dùng bữa vừa thư giãn với view đẹp. Dịch vụ thì không có gì để chê. Đội ngũ nhân viên phục vụ rất chuyên nghiệp và tận tâm. Tôi đặc biệt muốn cảm ơn em Nhung & Oanh cả hai đều cực kỳ chu đáo, luôn hỏi han khách và xử lý yêu cầu rất nhanh chóng nhưng vẫn nhẹ nhàng, thân thiện.

While we weren’t staying there , we happened to walk by and decided to check out the premises, including the restaurant located on the 4th floor. We were warmly greeted by both the staff and the manager, who were very attentive and took the time to show us the menu, as well as the menu for another dining option in the hotel. Their hospitality made us feel welcome, so we decided to have our meal there. The restaurant itself is quite pleasant, offering a lovely ambiance with a stunning view overlooking the river and the city. This scenic setting added a nice touch to our dining experience. We were seated at a table with a view, which we really appreciated. As for the food, the selection was extensive, and we thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. I had the Korean fried chicken, which was delicious, and I couldn’t resist trying the Pad Thai noodles, which did not disappoint. The spring rolls were also excellent, and a special mention goes to the BINGSU, which was a unique and delightful dish. Great cocktails too. However, there were a few points where the service could be improved. We ordered two cocktails, but despite there being only three occupied tables in the restaurant at the time, we waited over 30 minutes for our drinks. In fact, our starters arrived and we finished them before our cocktails arrived. The manager and wait staff were aware of this but did nothing to help or comp the situation, not what Western travellers expect from such an establishment. When I mentioned this to the staff, it became clear that there was no one behind the bar to make the cocktails. This kind of delay might be understandable during peak hours, but not when the restaurant is quiet, with about five staff members attending to roughly ten clients. Another issue arose when we stepped out for 10-15 minutes after finishing our main course to have a smoke and see the polar bear display. Upon returning to our table, we found that nothing had been cleared away despite the meal being clearly finished. For the prices charged, the level of service felt a bit lacking in these instances. It’s unclear if there is a lack of understanding what western travellers expect in 5 star hotels or if the staff was inexperienced, they seemed eager to please but it fell short. Despite these setbacks, the overall experience was good. The food was very enjoyable, and the ambiance was lovely. With some improvements in service, this restaurant could truly shine.

Novotel is a big no for me now. The macaroon looks just sad as Novotel’s service. I paid nearly 500usd with extra fee for a vip table for my family to enjoy the diff show. But they change the layout without noticing me. I complained and they just said sorry and told me to wait. I need to called them again and the sale person said they will refund 10% which is nothing compared to the sad experience me and my family have been through. Not to mention the seafood is cold and boring compared to the price.

Nghe về buffet ở Novotel đã lâu, vừa rồi có dịp đi ăn cùng team thì thấy hơi tiếc vì không đi sớm hơn. Mình ăn hôm 14/12 là tiệc buffet theo chủ đề cuối cùng của năm rồi, giảm 30% cho người địa phương (Huế, Đà Nẵng và Quảng Nam nên chỉ còn khoảng 600k/ pax (đã bao gồm thuế phí), thêm gói nước freeflow (nước suối, nước ngọt, nước khoáng và craft beer Bà Nà) tầm 300k/pax Hôm mình đi là theme Nhật Bản, quầy sushi và sashimi khá tươi, hải sản nướng nhiều, cold cuts và đồ ngọt đa dạng. Chỉ có quầy nóng có cá nướng hơi mặn xíu. Về giải trí thì có live band và chú hề nặn bóng theo yêu cầu (đối với bàn có trẻ em). Nhân viên thân thiện, phục vụ nhanh nhẹn. Hy vọng qua 2025 có thêm nhiều tiệc buffet như vậy nữa để mình dẫn gia đình đến trải nghiệm.

Nhà hàng có view đẹp, nhân viên thân thiện, nhiệt tình. Món ăn phong phú, tuy nhiên chưa đặc sắc lắm Chủ đề là buffet Nhật nhưng nhìn chung giống buffet VN thường ngày. Chỉ có sashimi cá hồi, cá ngừ, bạch tuột và thanh cua, không có cá trích hay món lươn Nhật. Hải sản nướng nên có thêm cua/ghẹ Đồ tráng miệng phong phú.

Đồ ăn ngon và đa dạng nhé, không gian rất chill khi về đêm. Mình đi ăn còn nhận được ưu đãi nữa

Không gian thật sang trọng, view tuyệt đẹp bao quát thành phố. Ngắm nhìn cầu Rồng, cầu sông Hàn và toàn cảnh thành phố lên đèn lung linh vào ban đêm bên dòng sông Hàn thơ mộng. Tôi sẽ quay lại sử dụng dịch vụ tại nơi này. Thật sự rất ấn tượng.

Lễ vừa qua gia đình mình có đặt bàn và sử dụng dịch vụ tại nhà hàng The Square ở tầng 4 Novotel . Mình cảm thấy khá ưng ý các món ăn ở đây và cách nhân viên take care chu đáo , tỉ mỉ . Không gian ở đây thì khỏi phải bàn view đối diện sông Hàn nhìn bao quát toàn cảnh Đà Nẵng về đêm . Đây là một nơi lý tưởng cho các gia đình , cặp đôi hay các nhóm bạn có thể dùng bữa ở đây . Trải nghiệm của mình ở đây khá tốt và sẽ quay lại nhà hàng lần tới để dùng bữa.

Had the a la carte menu. Items were great and service was amazing. Could tell the attention to detail. A trainee waitress was writing notes while waiting for orders, and rearranged the chairs to maintain visual standards. Very nice place to dine at!

One of the best luxury restaurant in Da Nang

The view and the atmosphere were nice. But the food is just average and nothing special. They don't refill the buffet very well and a lot of food were empty really fast. Staff were friendly but unattended. It took them a while to take the order for the drinks. Even they just stood around doing nothing. For the experience and the food the price is way too much. For 2 person it costs 1'520'000 in total. With 8% tax and !!! 5% service fee !!! without warning. No wonder the service was that bad. Not really recommend.

My partner and I went last week to celebrate our anniversary. It was the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The way the staff treated us really made it amazing. It was my first time going someplace “fancy” and we actually ended up having the entire place to ourself. It has a beautiful view of the Han river and was quiet. The staff were very attentive and even put my napkin on my lap for me 🥹 I felt very catered to. I only eat halal so I’ve had a lot of salmon in my life and it was amazing at this facility. They even prepped cake and dessert for us to go since we were celebrating. Our waitress was honestly just amazing and they even held the elevator doors open for us. Little things made it an amazing experience.

A cozy and luxury restaurant, it's located on the 4th floor of Novotel, a 5-star hotel in Da Nang city center. It has the beautiful view to Han river, and I can see Han River Bridge and Dragon Bridge. Staff and services are really professional, exactly match to a high-end restaurant.

My family had a evening dinner at the Square restaurant. The food is delicious, the pastry counter is beautiful. My table was arranged with beautiful view. The staffs Thuy, Luu, Duyen,Hoai, Trung are very friendly and nice.

It is always delicious and good ambient.

Came here for the Friday seafood buffet. Staff was very attentive. Pulled out chairs, poured my bottled water each time the glass was empty and brought over the dishes I had grilled. Food was very fresh and delicious. Desserts were odd but beautiful. For example the creme brulee was topped with watermelon. Loved the lobster, scallops, mussels and seabass. I would come back for sure.

The food was good although nothing spectacular in a nice setting. Wait staff were unattentive and priced at more than 1 million VND per person it definately wasn't worth it. Price was not listed or posted anywhere so were shocked when we got the bill. There are so many better restaurants. Avoid this one.
