Tra Que Water Wheel Restaurant & Cooking classes

I do not recommend visiting this place because the staff behave disrespectfully toward foreigners. They are polite when you attend their classes, but if they run into you on the street, they subject you to mockery, disrespect, and so. This morning, as I walked past the café, they all (four lades, who work in this cafe, and one man) laughed at me with no reason. When I got closer to ask what problem is, I saw that man was drunk and acting in an extremely provocative and disrespectful manner toward me. And ladies were just laughing except to help. And this is despite the fact that I have visited their café several times as a custumer before. Looks like at the time when you are not their customer and not paying money, they don't care of you at all, even about to be simply polite and respectful. There are plenty of other good cooking classes in this village where people are polite and genuine. I don't think it's worth spending your money to support the kind of fake people found at this café. This is the only one such terrible experience with people I had during entire my stay in HoiAn!

Très chouette demi journée qui commence le matin au marché à la découverte de produits locaux et qui se poursuit dans les jardins à proximité du restaurant avec Búi, notre superbe guide locale 😚 La journée se poursuit avec un petit cours de cuisine (banh xeo) et un bon déjeuner

My husband and I had such a great time getting foot massages, learning how to make rice paper, learning how to cook some Vietnamese foods, and eating a delicious meal! The whole family is super nice and the farm is amazing! Highly recommend this experience.

I came here on the 17th of September, beautiful sunny weather. I was the only person in the class but it was made beautiful for me. Xuan was my guide and chef and was so much fun, kept the energy high and the jokes flowing. I feel like i also learnt so much about Vietnamese culture and I was so looked after. Booking on their website is also better than booking on GetYourGuide! Honestly, as a vegan solo female traveller, I felt so safe and looked after. Food was delicious, vibes were on point. Definitely recommend.

Bui was really a friendly guide. We enjoyed the whole tour.

We had a great day tour with Ruby, we had a look at the garden and did gardening, made rice paper and had a traditional cooking lesson. The lunch we had was amazing and we got to keep our bicycles for the rest of the day.

A wonderful experience in Hoi An that combines several attractions into one experience- The real Hoi An Tour. Ruby the guide was amazing, picked us up from the hotel with a bike and we went to the local market, where she explained to about fruits, fish and spices. From there we continued riding through amazing rice fields, Ruby took pictures of us all the way to the river for a short coconut boat ride and from there to the stunning organic farm. We laughed a lot like old time friends, worked with the lady farmer and planted water spinach, rode a buffalo, received an explanation about making rice sheets and prepared them ourselves, prepared 2 dishes and received additional dishes that the staff there cooked for us for a wonderful lunch. The whole experience was wonderful, Ruby was lovely and so was Win the apprentice who joined us. The owner herself joined us towards the end and was very warm and welcoming and even provided us with the written recipes. Thank you all so much, it was amazing and definitely a must for anyone visiting Hoi An.

We had a beautiful experience with the rice paper making workshop. We rode with bicycles from the hotel and our guide Suan showed us around their organic farm and shared great tips on tricks on how to care for your garden. Learning how to make rice paper from scratch was also very unique, which is a dying art with most place using machines for this! We got to make and cook our rice paper (at least 3 ways). 100% recommend if you want something slightly different from the avg cooking class 💯

We had the best experience with our cooking class today. Suan, our tour guide is very friendly and she communicates well. We had so much fun on our bike ride from the hotel to the restaurant. We also had a very fun cooking class with Chef Ruby. We had four delicious dishes! We will definitely come back here with our kids in the future!

This was such an amazing experience! We got picked up at our stay and drove the bicycles to the next market to buy some ingredients together. After that we passed by the farm and go a tour of their garden before we started cooking. We learned a lot about the ingredients and Vietnamese kitchen/living. So fun and friendly.

We did the market and cooking tour today and it was the best! We learned about new type of leaves and had sommuch fun cooking with the girls! They were nice and fun and considerate and funny! I think it was the most friendly experience that felt genuine since i arrived in Vietnam! And it was delicious! Definitely going to try to recreate at home for my family. Heavily recommended!

Very nice and warm local people! Tour includes going to the market with bui, that explaind to us about everything we wanted to know. Very passionate about explaining about their culture and food. Sun (pronounced Soon) is an excellent teacher. If you are vegan or vegetarian they have options for you. The sweet and sour soy they make sauce was amazing, and they also have vegan fish sauce and vegan oyster sauce.

Lovely Restaurant & Cooking School right next to the Farmers Garden in Tra Qua Hoi An. We popped in for lunch. Food was great. The ladies there were lovely. Was amazing walking around the large herb/ greens field
