We ordered coffee and then were told that upstairs has a gallery/shop filled with handmade good from ethnic minority tribes in Vietnam. We took a look around and then was greeted by Kiet, co-owner of the shop. He educated us on the different items in the gallery, and you can tell how passionate he is about preserving ethnic minority traditions and artwork. I ended up buying a tote bag made of hemp and leather, a few pairs of chopsticks, and a small hand drawn batik. The total came out to be just under $75 USD, fairly reasonable for handmade, high quality goods! Kiet also gave us non-touristy recommendations in Hoi An as well as travel tips. Overall, highlyy recommend everyone to come visit this shop. Preserving tradition takes group effort, and you can be apart of it!
