I came many time to this place 9ver the last 2 years, at the beginning it was ok but it changed quickly and to the worst. The owner is by far the worst bartender on the planet,rude, no friendly, never ever smiles, serves room temperature beer, The place itself is called a bar... but doesn't even have a fridge to have cold beer... the food is terrible. The place is infested with sand flies and fleas, sound is terrible 95% of the time. Overall I won't be coming back to this place as it's the worst service I've ever encountered.

I love this place so much. I feel it is simple, interesting, amazing, beautiful. Sometimes you can lay down there and read some books. Sometimes you can get some quick nap. Sometimes you can sit down and think about your dreams or what you should focus on fot tomorrow. You can chill chill there with some food and drinks that make you happy to the end of the day. And there are live bands who alway play the best song ever. My experiences there were so much special that I never forget them.

By far the best bar in Hoi An. The atmosphere and people are great. The events are especially fantastic on weekends. It has a loyal customer base. Almost everyone knows each other. So, someone new is immediately noticed. It's a very pleasant place.

I’ve been coming to Roots Bar in Hoi An for over a year and have spent a lottttt of money there over time. In the beginning, it had a cool, relaxed vibe and I genuinely enjoyed supporting the place. Unfortunately, over the past month, the atmosphere and customer service have noticeably declined. The man working behind the bar (possibly the owner) has been increasingly rude and dismissive (not just to me I've seen him yell at a guy over a chair, it was absurd). But the way I was spoken to during my last visit was disrespectful and completely unacceptable. After that experience, I won’t be returning. Beyond the service issues, the drinks feel overpriced for what you get. Food is substandard, there's no view, and the cleanliness is lacking to say the least. It’s disappointing because this place had potential and I use to just overlooked the rest, but the attitude and overall experience just aren’t worth it anymore. I honestly can't believe how I was just spoken to at Roots after all the money I spent there but they won't have to worry about ever seeing me again. Just sharing my honest experience so others can make an informed decision.

love this space. super chill spot for a drink and a smoke, rustic vibes. the owners are cool and it’s a decent place to meet interesting people. the music quiz followed by open mic on sunday is always fun too!

Cool Beach side Beer-garden... Food , I had Chicken nuggets... was really great...tasty Chicken breast in crispy batter...served with cherry tomatoes and a dip.. Great flavour, and value... Recommended 🎥 Free Movies night Wednesdays 7pm works good with nuggets n beer 😎👍

Super nice and cozy place

Roots Bar is a gem of a place. My favourite bar during the 4 months I spent in Hoi An. The staff are really friendly, so too the crowd there. It’s a relaxed place, welcoming. And it’s surprising how many quality musicians turn up and turn this place on any given night of the week. 2 thumbs way up!

안방비치에서 해수욕을 즐기고 시원한 맥주한잔을 즐기기에 좋다. 바다가 보이는 바는 아니지만 분위기가 아주 미쳤다. 근사한 음악들과 산미구엘생맥주에 가볍게 취하면 근처 해먹에서 낮잠을 자도 된다. 저녁이 되면 자연스럽게 라이브밴드의 공연이 시작되는데 멋진음악에 모두가 흥겹게 박수치며 놀다보면 이국적인 감성에 다시한번 취한다. Chill하면서도 Hip한 분위기. 달빛아래 히피스러운 분위기에 취하고 음악에 취하다 보면 마침내 낭만 치사량에 도달하고 만다. 친절한 바텐더 "얌"은 기꺼이 당신의 친구가 되어 줄 것이다. 안방비치에서 하룻밤을 보내게 된다면 저녁에 이곳에 가보기를 추천한다.
