Da Nang Chairman Visits and Gives Gifts to La Ee Border Region
On the afternoon of August 15, Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung and his delegation paid a visit to encourage officers and soldiers of the La Ee Border Guard Station – one of the units performing duties at the city's frontline border areas.
During the meeting, city leaders warmly inquired about the living conditions and working environment of the soldiers, while acknowledging the unit's quiet contributions to protecting border sovereignty and security. This is an annual activity demonstrating the local government's deep care for the armed forces and people in remote and far-flung areas.
On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, families in difficult circumstances, village elders, respected community figures, and children adopted by the La Ee Border Guard Station. Though modest, the gifts carry warm sentiments, helping to encourage border residents to work with peace of mind and stay connected to their homeland.
The visit was not only an act of gratitude but also a bridge strengthening military-civilian ties, affirming the city government's solidarity with those who stand guard day and night over the nation's borders.
