Da Nang Approves Investment in Two Infrastructure Projects for Free Trade Zone Worth Over VND 13,400 Billion

On June 11, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, signed two important decisions regarding investment in functional area infrastructure. Specifically, Decisions No. 2578 and 2579 approved the investment policy and simultaneously approved the investors for two projects to build and operate infrastructure at Locations No. 3 and No. 4 within the Da Nang Free Trade Zone (FTZ). The total registered capital for both projects amounts to over VND 13,400 billion, marking a new step in the development of this special economic zone.

The two projects are part of the strategy to expand infrastructure at the FTZ, creating conditions to attract domestic and foreign investors. Locations No. 3 and No. 4 are identified as key points to build modern functional zones serving trade, logistics, and services. With large capital, investors will implement a synchronized system of roads, water supply and drainage, lighting, and other utilities, contributing to the overall picture of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone.

This investment approval not only accelerates the construction progress of the FTZ but is also expected to create many jobs and enhance the city's competitiveness. The Da Nang Free Trade Zone is expected to become a new growth driver, connecting with economic centers in the region. Local residents and businesses can look forward to synchronized infrastructure development, which will bring long-term benefits to the city's economy.
