Da Nang Prepares for Tet Dinh Mui Decorations and Brings Local Specialties to Grab

At the meeting on August 4, the Da Nang City People's Committee issued several important directives, notably the plan for Tet Dinh Mui decorations and bringing OCOP products and local specialties onto the Grab platform. These are practical steps aimed at creating a festive atmosphere and boosting consumption and tourism during the new year.

Accordingly, the city will implement 23 flower decoration points and 9 artistic lighting displays for Tet. Central areas, main streets, and public venues will be adorned with vibrant appearances, creating highlights for residents and tourists to enjoy and take photos. This annual activity is expected to attract large crowds of locals and visitors, enriching the spring travel experience in Da Nang.

Additionally, the launch of the "OCOP and Da Nang Specialties" trading floor on the Grab platform marks a step forward in promoting and consuming local products. Tourists and residents can easily order famous specialties such as Quang noodles, rice paper, dried seafood... directly on the familiar app, offering both convenience and support for local production and business establishments. This is seen as a new approach to connecting agricultural products and specialties with consumers, while also helping bring Da Nang's cuisine and culture closer to visitors.

Furthermore, the City People's Committee also focused on directing issues related to fishing vessel management, transferring project investors, and supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses. These decisions demonstrate the government's close attention to residents' lives, while contributing to building an increasingly civilized, modern, and livable Da Nang.
