Da Nang: Key Directives and Actions from the Past Week (August 10-14, 2026)

Over the past week (August 10-14, 2026), the Da Nang City People's Committee issued several important directives and actions to boost socio-economic development, ensure social welfare, and prepare for the storm and rainy season. Notably, this included implementing the Government's regular monthly meeting resolution for July 2026 and accelerating progress on key projects.

One of the highlighted tasks is the urgent completion and commissioning of the multi-level boarding schools (Primary - Secondary) in land border communes. This project holds deep humanitarian significance, contributing to improving the quality of education for children in the city's highland and border areas.

Additionally, the City People's Committee adjusted the investment policy for the Da Phuoc International Urban Area project and added two more projects under the special mechanisms and policies of Resolution No. 170/2024/QH15 and Resolution No. 29/2026/QH16. This reflects the city's commitment to attracting investment, facilitating the development of major projects, and transforming the urban landscape.

This August, city leaders will hold a dialogue with businesses on human resource development to listen to and resolve challenges facing the business community. At the same time, the city continues to replicate two exemplary "Skillful Mass Mobilization" models and implement drainage and urban flood prevention solutions ahead of the 2026 rainy season, ensuring safety for residents and tourists.
