Da Nang and Quang Ngai Discuss Expanding East-West Economic Corridor 2

On the afternoon of August 24, leaders of the Da Nang City People's Committee and Quang Ngai Province held a joint working session to discuss the plan for linking the development space of Chu Lai - Dung Quất - Nam Giang - Bờ Y - East-West Economic Corridor 2. This is an important step aimed at connecting the region and creating socio-economic development momentum for the entire central area.

Although this is a strategic plan focused on planning and infrastructure, expanding the development space along the East-West Economic Corridor 2 promises practical benefits for both tourists and residents. As transport routes and regional connections improve, travel between Da Nang, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai will become more convenient, opening up opportunities to explore new destinations such as the Chu Lai Economic Zone, Dung Quất Port, or the Bờ Y border gate.

With the existing tourism potential of both localities, this linkage could create attractive cross-regional tour routes, connecting sea, islands, and mountainous areas.
