Countless ways to admire fireworks: Locals and tourists flock to Han River early
On the afternoon of June 6, along both sides of the Han River in Da Nang, the atmosphere became more bustling than ever as a large number of locals and tourists arrived early to prepare for the second night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026. Everyone was excited, eagerly anticipating the brilliant moments in the sky.
Many families and groups of young people took the opportunity to arrive early in the afternoon, bringing folding chairs, drinks, and snacks to secure their seats. Riverside streets such as Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao quickly became crowded. Some tourists said they had reserved spots at high-rise cafes and restaurants days in advance to get a panoramic view. The waiting atmosphere was filled with excitement, mixed with conversations and laughter.
The second competition night of DIFF 2026 promises to deliver spectacular performances, with the participation of fireworks teams from many countries. This event is not only a tourism highlight of Da Nang but also an opportunity for locals and tourists to immerse themselves in the lively festival atmosphere. Those who haven't yet found an ideal spot can still watch the live broadcast on large screens set up at several public locations.
