Da Nang Planning Aims for a Century-Long Vision

At a recent meeting of the City Party Committee, Da Nang City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that the city's master plan through 2050, with a vision to 2075, must be developed with a long-term mindset, looking ahead to the next hundred years. This is a crucial direction for Da Nang to develop sustainably, becoming an attractive destination for tourists and a livable place for residents.

According to Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, the plan needs to create a unified development space after the merger, while balancing economic growth with environmental protection, preserving cultural identity, and improving quality of life. This is especially significant for a tourism city like Da Nang, where infrastructure and urban development must go hand in hand with preserving natural landscapes, blue seas, and distinctive cultural values.
