Video: Da Nang Tightens Urban Order and Prepares for the Year of the Goat Tet

Last week (August 3-7, 2026), the Da Nang City People's Committee issued several notable directives, with a particular emphasis on strengthening urban order and promoting civilized lifestyles. Districts and counties were required to closely coordinate in handling violations related to roadways and sidewalks, contributing to a clean and civilized urban appearance—something both tourists and residents care about when visiting Da Nang.

A key highlight was the plan for decorating for the Year of the Goat Tet 2027, featuring 23 flower decoration points and 9 decorative lighting points across the city. This annual activity aims to create a lively and appealing atmosphere for residents and visitors during the Lunar New Year. Additionally, the City People's Committee focused on implementing solutions to ensure the supply of construction materials for public investment, while stepping up inspections, monitoring, and evaluations of investment projects funded by non-budgetary sources.

Furthermore, the directives also addressed monitoring and managing fishing vessels that do not meet conditions for fisheries exploitation, supporting the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses, and maintaining transport connections between the mainland and Tan Hiep commune. These efforts not only contribute to socio-economic development but also indirectly enhance the quality of experiences for tourists visiting the coastal city.
