Video: Highlights of Da Nang People's Committee Activities This Week

This past week (August 3-7), leaders of the Da Nang City People's Committee carried out numerous important activities, from reviewing major cultural events to promoting international cooperation and socio-economic development. These highlights were compiled in a video showcasing the activities of the People's Committee, the Chairman, and Vice Chairmen of the city.

Notably, city leaders reviewed the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) and the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF) 2026, two events that helped affirm the city's cultural and tourism standing. In addition, working sessions with the Management Board of the High-Tech Park and industrial zones aimed at removing bottlenecks and driving double-digit growth were also addressed. Strengthening cooperation with the UAE in investment, finance, infrastructure, and tourism, along with expanding ties with localities in South Korea, reflects Da Nang's efforts toward international integration.

Furthermore, the city focused on sustainable development issues such as building Da Nang into an environmental city within a new development framework, reviewing and increasing the capacity of mineral mining operations, and committing to completing the removal of temporary housing for children of war veterans exposed to chemical toxins before December 22. These activities demonstrate the government's close attention to residents' lives and the investment climate, contributing to the dynamic image of this coastal city.
