The Culinary Gem in Da Nang
This was really a lovely surprise. Not that we were specifically craving for French food, but it was a very nice surprise all the way. A fusion French cuisine with Vietnamese touch, in a really nice atmosphere and excellent service. This is top cuisine and all our compliments to Chef Olivier and his professional team. And we were also surprised by the excellent pairing of the wines.
A consistently good restaurant
We have been here in Danang 3 years in a row, and each time we will visit this restaurant. It never fails to please. As always, good food, good service, good ambience.

I just wanted to share my fantastic experience at Le Comptoir. Their grand menu signature was amazing, with every dish thoughtfully crafted. The staff were efficient and always ready to assist. I even picked up a sandwich from their sister shop next door for my lunch the next day! If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, I highly recommend this place.
This was my second time at Le Comptoir, and it was just as impressive as the first visit. The food was absolutely excellent from start to finish. We ordered the set menu, and every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. My favorite dish was the scallops tartare with canh chua — such a creative and perfectly balanced combination. It was fresh, refined, and truly memorable. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and the owner was warm and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more special. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back again!

We had an amazing meal sitting at the counter seats watching Chef Ben in action! The meal was a work of art - complex flavors and textures that were both creative and satisfying. Still dreaming about our meal: fois gras macaron amuse bouche, scallop starter w cucumber, rabbit ravioli, black bass with truffle shavings! Wine pairings were all spot on. Service efficient and responsive as well as warm and welcoming. Worth the price tag! Highly recommend booking a table here when you travel to Danang.
I had a really great time at Le Comptoir when I dined there on 30 December 2025. Chef Ben checked in with me a few times during the meal, which felt very genuine and made the experience more personal. I went for the 8-course tasting menu, and from the second dish onwards the food just kept getting better — rich, comforting, and full of flavour. I also really appreciated how each dish was meticulously described by the team, which added a lot to the experience without feeling overdone. Service throughout was warm and attentive, and the complimentary pre- and post-meal snacks were a lovely touch that made the whole meal feel thoughtful from start to finish. They were kind to let me be seated earlier than my reservation, and both the head chef and sous chef agreed to sign the small menu for me as a keepsake. The sous chef looked genuinely surprised that I asked for his signature, which made the moment unexpectedly funny and memorable. Overall, great food, sincere service, and a place I’d happily return to.
We enjoyed the set menu dinner and every course was absolutely delicious. The wine pairing was perfectly curated, elevating each dish. The service was exceptional attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful from all staff. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance: intimate enough for conversation, yet incredibly welcoming. Chef Ben was so kind and a pleasure to chat with. Without a doubt, this is the best restaurant I’ve experienced in Vietnam. My entire family agrees this restaurant truly deserves a Michelin Star. Everything was flawless.
