Da Nang Coffee Workshop

My partner and I attended the coffee making workshop at Da Nang Home Cooking Class today. One of our favourite things about Vietnam is the coffee, so we are so happy that we have now learnt how to make our favourite drinks so that we can remake them at home. Lyn and her 2 assistants were fantastic, so much energy and passion for coffee. The workshop was so well structured and everything was laid out ready for us to use on arrival - everything flowed smoothly. Instructions were clear and help was there if you needed it. All 4 coffees tasted great. If you love Vietnamese coffee and have a spare couple of hours in Da Nang, you should definitely book this class 😊🫰🏽💗🥥🧂🍳

I booked the seafood dinner, night market, river cruise excursion on my first night in Da Nang. The best decision ever. Do it straight away you arrive as this tour gives an idea of the city, the traffic, the food, the market and the lovely Vietnamese people, Lyn and her friends. The best way to get to know the city through a local. The seafood dinner with local beer was just fantastic. Food amazing, company fantastic, experience spot on. After food little walk to the night market. And more food.. to see this time. But you can also eat if you still have space in your tummy. Now you know and have an idea where to go and what to eat while you are in Da Nang 🤤 Then you taken on a motorbike to Han river for a river cruise. If you choose weekend, you see the Dragon Bridge's dragon spitting fire 🔥 By the end I was dropped back to my hotel. Best ever experience! I never thought I would survive and actually experience myself a crazy motorbike ride but thanks to the girls, I can tick this on my bucket list 😉 The best excursion you can ever choose!

I had my trip to my son sanctuary, my tour guide was Amy and she was so sweet and lovely. She told us so much information about my son and also answered peoples questions about the war. She was extremely informative. The food we had was so nice with so much choice and your own potion size. Then we had a boat ride to the old town which was so nice to cool down from the hot sun. Our driver got us there safely back to the hotel. I highly recommend this tour 8am - 1:30pm

Thank you to our tour guide Harry Duong. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. We had an amazing experience. The Hoi An city tour and Basket Boat from Da Nang tour is such a wonderful experience. The tour and itinerary is well organized. The lunch served during the tour is delicious as well.

Morning we had few issues for pick up but barring that, Our Tour Gide Harry is good guy, had a wonderful time & explained everything about places we visited. Enjoyed the trip till now & will definitely recommend my friends in future

My friend and I attended the Da Nang Coffee Making Workshop. It was a group course with a total of four students. We really enjoyed it! If you are a coffee lover you need to do this course! Our amazing teacher Daisy was an expert and knowledgeable about the different types of coffee. She gave us some key facts about the types of beans here in Vietnam (robusta and arabica), the differences between south and north grown beans and the different types of mixes/profiles. I really enjoyed how she shared with us that her father is a grower and it made it even more special that she knew coffee inside out, having been brought up around it. The workshop is hands on and everyone gets to make several different types of coffee from scratch. You also get recipes afterwards (sent via email) so you don’t forget and can sit back and learn. I took heaps of photos and videos. Daisy was patient and made the workshop fun! She also invited my friend and I for some Ban Xèo with her friend, and shared some tips on making our travels here even more memorable. Totally recommend this course for everyone!

Fun walking tour with our guide Emma. She has a great knowledge of all things about Vietnam and is very passionate about her job. She took us for lunch and introduced us to some delicious Vietnamese dishes. She was also super patient while we learned how to make lanterns.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience attending the coffee class led by Ai and Nhi, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I stepped into the cozy, inviting atmosphere, I knew I was in for a treat. Ai and Nhi were incredibly thorough in their instructions, making sure that everyone felt comfortable and confident as we learned the art of making authentic Vietnamese coffee. They shared fascinating insights into the local culture and coffee traditions, which added so much depth to the experience. The hands-on approach was fantastic, and I loved being able to practice and perfect my coffee-making skills under their guidance. The entire session was not only informative but also a lot of fun! If you're visiting Da Nang, this cooking class is an absolute must-do. It's not just a class; it’s a delightful culinary journey that you won't forget. Thank you, Ai and Nhi, for a pleasurable experience that truly deserves five stars!

Excellent coffee class ! Communication beforehand was superb. The class had structure and a good pace. Lyn was enthusiastic and friendly. She used interactive questions and kept us engaged by teaching us about coffee. And of course the coffee was excellent ! Highly recommended! One small suggestion is to not to use plastic for hot liquid. There is such a thing as forever chemicals , and we know it causes cancer. This was an issue for me all over Vietnam, so nothing unusual. .

We took both the cooking and coffee making classes. The instructors were very helpful, happy and so fun to spend time with. Today we learned to make 4 dishes and 3 types of coffee. If you are in Da Nang you owe it to yourself to attend. Highly recommend.

Experienced a lovely day learning traditional Vietnamese coffee recipes, the workshop was very informative and fun. It’s interesting to learn the recipe and method also the history of how and where the coffee varieties were created in the different regions of Vietnam. I highly recommend checking out this class if you are staying in Da Nang and have an interest in local coffee 👌🏻

I really enjoyed this very professional and almost private coffee cooking class. Our „teacher“ Ai spread good vibes from the beginning and the atmosphere was so great. I felt that she has so much fun in showing us how to cook the traditional vietnamese coffee. We learned to cook egg, salty and coconut coffee and it tasted absolutely delicious! I can 100% recommend this class. Thank you so much for this great experience!

Lyn was An amazing tour guide. She took us to an amazing seafood restaurant, night market, and boat tour. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the coffee making class. Ai our teacher was fun, knowledgeable & explained everything clearly. We got to make & taste 4 different Vietnamese coffees. All were delicious, hard to pick a favourite but the Salt Coffee was amazing! Highly recommend this experience for any coffee lovers😊

This is the class you can’t miss if you really want to know more about the culture and types of Vietnam’s coffee. We enjoy the coffee making process, not only for learning but also the culture connect with local and people from different country. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing morning today, we took a vegetarian Vietnamese cooking class with Jane and her crew, if your looking for a unique experience check this out. You can do vegetarian or regular Vietnamese food and our group of 4 made Papaya Salad, summer rolls, Vietnamese pancake and finally vegetarian pho. Jane is excellent and makes the class fun all while learning as well. Learned alot of new things that we will definitely try when back at home.

We took the morning vegetarian cooking class. First thing I will warn others that if you do morning class the eating part is sooner then expected so eat nothing or lightly before coming. Our group of 4 had a great time with Jane learning some classics Vietnamese dishes and techniques. If not a vegetarian you still learn and can easily try the traditional versions. Overall a fun morning and good value.
