I went to eat at this location in the evening. My friend's fried chicken had some pale pink spots when cut, and cutting deeper revealed dark pink. I asked the staff member, and she said it was the marrow, so it looked like that. My friend didn't want to eat chicken like that, so she asked the staff to fry it again. The staff didn't say anything, but when the chicken was refried, it was burnt in one spot. My friend threw that piece away. As for me, I had a drumstick, but when eating, there were still some pinkish spots. It was really gross. I've eaten chicken for years and never seen a drumstick with pink spots like that. This time I didn't bother asking; I just forced myself to finish the fries and rice and went home because it was the first day of Lunar New Year and I didn't want to make a scene. I really like KFC chicken, but the attitude of the staff at this location is truly terrible. If this was just a mistake, it would be fine, but the staff kept saying they fried the whole basket of chicken, so how could only our portion be undercooked? When I just said the meat was still pink and wanted it refried, she kept insisting it was the marrow and that the whole basket was like that, so how could this piece be undercooked while others didn't complain? I was really annoyed and it ruined my New Year.
