Hai Cafe Courtyard BBQ & Restaurant in Hoi An Old Town

Eaten here twice this week. 8 hour BBQ brisket is fantastic (carnivore husband) and eggplant hotpot (me vegetarian) also very good. Staff really helpful and nice ❤️

We casually walked in on this quaint beautiful place in Hoi an not knowing it will blow our mind with the quality of meat that meets with great amalgamation of flavour profile. Simple, delicious and hits the spot. We ordered beef in lot leaves, we tried this in many places but this one had the best flavours so far. Ordered the crispy pork belly with country fried rice- perfect crisp on the belly and even in the fried rice with smokey flavour. The star of the show was beef brisket which was cooked for 8 hrs and it was falling apart as we digged in. The in house bbq sauce was pairing really well with the red meat. In all a MUST TRY PLACE

Honestly, we walked around and stumbled across this place, which was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal! What a pleasant surprise, the food was amazing and staff were so friendly. Felt like home style cooking but elegant. I highly recommend, please do note it did take time for our food to be served but it was worth every minute!

Despite the restaurant being full, the service was impeccable and the food delicious! Definitely recommend! We took the degustation menu 1. Every dish was delicious. The cherry on the cake was the fresh fruits platter for dessert. We are coming back definitely

A most enjoyable meal, difficult to select from the range of offerings. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Also a good drinks selection available. Can certainly recommend.

No one recommended this place to us, we were just walking around the streets of Hoi An looking for a spot to eat pho and cao lau when we came across this restaurant. It did not disappoint, from the service to the food. The pho was really nice and full of flavor. The cao lau had a bit of spice but was delicious, and the banh xeo was so yummy! PS: Please note that their toilet is clean and smells good. 👌🏻

Jedzenie dobre, ale podobnej jakości mozesz kupić gdzie indziej za znacznie mniejsze pieniadze. Sam klimat fajny, lokal bardzo ładny, jedne z lepszych toalet. Byliśmy cała rodzina, każdy sie najadl, natomiast za te pieniadze, w lokalnych knajpach najedlibysmy sie conajmniej 4 razy. Polecam odwiedzić przy okazji.

We sat in the courtyard where you can see and smell the delicious meat cooking on the grill! Food was delicious. We got the bbq pork fried rice and pork ribs!

Solo traveler enjoying BBQ beef with Vietnamese salad and a red. Great kick of chilli in the salad and sides of green and red chilli sauce just to help clear out the Sinuses. The flavour of the food is incredible. French Pinot Noir is a nice accompaniment. Great feel in the courtyard and comfortable as a solo dinner.

Very nice place in the middle of old town. With a big outside terras. Delicious beef and vegetable skewers.

I ate here twice during my stay in Hoi an. The staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed away from the crowds. As a solo traveller they made me feel so comfortable. The food is amazing particularly the grilled squid. I'd be straight back here if I revisit Hoi an.

Excellent lunch today in a beautiful courtyard setting. Tried the local specialty dish of shrimp omelette, so good. Portions were generous and full of fresh ingredients. So glad we ate here.
