Skip This One – Disappointing Food, Worse Service Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown from start to finish. If you’re looking for an authentic, welcoming bowl of Bun Bo Hue, keep walking. The Food: Aggressively Average The Bun Bo itself was the definition of "just okay." The Broth: Lacked the deep, aromatic lemongrass and shrimp paste punch you expect. It felt thin and a bit too heavy on the MSG. The Toppings: The beef was slightly tough, and the portions were stingy compared to other spots in the neighborhood. The Verdict: It’s edible if you’re starving, but it certainly doesn't justify a special trip. The Service: The Real Dealbreaker While the food was mediocre, the attitude of the staff (and particularly the owner) was genuinely unpleasant. We were greeted with eye-rolls instead of a "hello." When we politely asked for extra lime and herbs, the response was a huff and a literal slam of the plate on the table. The overall vibe was that our presence was an inconvenience to them. Bottom Line: There are far too many amazing Bun Bo spots with kind owners and flavorful broth to waste your time and money here. Life is too short for bad soup and bad vibes. I certainly won't be returning.
Good noodle

Very cheap and good

Local restaurant! Bun bo hue is traditional noodle in Hue!, I met in Danang but it was delicious and cheap.
The eatery is right next to a stinky sewer, dog poop all over the street, affecting the experience. The female staff with a round face and red hair took orders with a sullen face, yelled back at customers, spoke disrespectfully, and had a rude attitude. The food is average. Will never come back.
Ate for 7 years without issues, this time the noodle soup water is like vegetable soup, call one direction do another while the person who regularly orders is treated as the boss! Same recipe but not the same result. Selling, some before some after, 5 people come in first, sell 1 bowl then sell to others, then someone asks for another bowl and you sell to others again, why not make 5 bowls at once and sell to those who come later, or maybe familiar faces get treated nicely! Should just close down, it's a waste, the previous owner built a good reputation, now bad reputation comes to you. Not to mention raising prices as if covering losses damages the brand, in Da Nang a bowl of pork leg noodle soup for 45k is questionable. Disappointed..!
Bun Bo Restaurant
This eatery is only open for breakfast, and closed on Sundays. The beef noodle soup here has a clear, light broth and comes with a variety of beef cuts to choose from. I ordered a bowl with beef brisket and pork patties, Nạm Chả (VND 30.000). The brisket was tender and melted in my mouth, and the pork patties were chewy and subtly sweet. It would be perfect if they had dried satay chilli to add to the soup. Cô Trang, the owner of the beef noodle eatery, is very welcoming to customers.
The vermicelli is very delicious, after eating I want to eat more, the vermicelli is too great.
Diverse beef noodle soup, made quickly, clear price list. Has raw vegetables.
Okay, clean
Delicious, clean
It's only clean and expensive! The broth is too sour, the Hue-style vermicelli is far inferior to Da Nang-style vermicelli. Nearby, there's a vermicelli eatery on Binh Than Street that is much better.
One of my favorite "bún bò" places in Sơn Trà district where I enjoy breakfast with my family. I didn't call this "bún bò Huế" because it's really a Huế-style version. It's really a version that only exists in Đà Nẵng. The price is normal, 25K for a regular bowl.
Inexpensive, acceptable.
Delicious, affordable price
Very delicious
It's okay. Not the Hue style.
