Wow! 🤯 This chocolate is absolutely delicious! And I love the families story. …
Sooo good and great price
A pleasant surprise! This is just a small house in a small road neighborhood —nothing fancy. The chocolates (65% and 85% dark, with nut varieties) are stored in a fridge out front. That’s it. No frills. But don’t let the simplicity fool you. The chocolate is pretty good. The lady allowed us to taste them first. We ended up buying several kilograms of the 85%. Definitely worth a stop if you’re a dark chocolate lover.
We stumbled across this hidden gem while exploring around Da Nang. We were greeted with a smile and offered samples of the delicious chocolates they made in their family home. They were all so delicious it was hard to choose. We bought a box to take back to our hotel and will probably be back to buy another before we go.
This place is actually a few buildings further down the road from where the Google maps locations pins it to. I found it by looking at a photo of the outside uploaded onto the Google maps. I really appreciate their friendliness and packing it into my own container to bring with me to eat. I got Mi Quang with no peanuts.
I’ve had local chocolate all around the world (Belgium, France, Colombia, Japan) and Nam Huang’s is certainly up there! A true hidden gem and a place I hope gains more attention. It’s family-run out of their home. The mom makes the chocolate and the daughter (who speaks very good English!) helps sell. She is very generous and lets you try all four variations of chocolate. I sadly did not have enough time to run to an ATM before my flight to purchase the chocolates I wanted, but next time I’m in Da Nang this is the first place I’m going.
I’m not sure how I found them, but somehow I ended up in their home, tasting an incredible variety of chocolates with amazing flavors. 😄 This is a family-run business. I was warmly greeted by a younger woman who spoke good English, and, from what I understood, her mother, who makes the chocolate. They offered me samples of everything they make, and if I could, I would have taken a box of each—it’s that good. We ended with a lovely chat, plenty of smiles and giggles, and I left with their premium dark choco and the choco with nuts. Go there, do the right thing and buy what you can! So so so delicious! 🍫
Seriously the BEST chocolate in all of Da Nang!! Handmade in small batches and the quality shines through! The flavor profile is beautiful! The smooth flavor is packed into a small bite. Each chocolate is hand wrapped in foil and stamped! I wish I would have bought a bigger suitcase to bring more home with me!!
Family vegetarian restaurant situated in their lounge. Small menu but food was absolutely delicious. Had the fermented salad with tofu, black rice and vegetable curry. Thoroughly enjoyed every spoonful right to the last drop.
Very nice people amazing chocolate that I have to force myself not to eat!!
Rich, melts in your mouth, pure deliciousness. Always buy local when you can because baked into every bite is human love ❤️- not machine made.
Best artisanal chocolate in Vietnam - a hidden gem in Da Nang. They specialize in few types of chocolates at one time so it's always freshly made ^^ ×××
Wow, my wife loved these! The chocolates are made fresh, they're amazing. I loved them as well, but my mission was to find something for my wife, so that was most important 🥰🥰 I definitely recommend checking this shop out - it's small, consider messaging ahead of time to make sure you can find it!
As a European, this is the best chocolate i've had in Da Nang so far. Soo good 👌
